The name RISA consists of the initial syllables of the company founder Rigk Sauer. It is well known for its electric ukuleles produced in Europe. The silent „RISA-Stick“, which is distributed in various sizes as Uke-Solid, became known worldwide.

Under the brand name Koki'o, RISA also sells a series of acoustic ukuleles produced in Asia.
