Numchok, Singto
Life
Singto is a popular vocalist in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan and Hawaii and a guitar singer-songwriter. He grew up in poor conditions and began working in a factory at the age of 12. During the breaks he played the guitar. At 17, he became a professional player. In 2010 he had his musical breakthrough. He popularized the ukulele in Thailand. His music is based on the beach and surf music he met in Phuket. Jason Mraz belongs to his role models.
I saw the ukulele one time in the movie. I don't know what that's called. But I think it sounds different. It's cool, and I want to try the ukulele. … I think the ukulele can make you cry too, depends on who plays.
