Jim Beloff

25.12.1955–

Beloff studied music theater and began his career as a musical composer and music publisher. He bought an ukulele at a flea market in his home town of Los Angeles and was so enthusiastic that, in 1992, he, together with his wife Liz, made the distribution of the ukulele and pieces of music suitable for it to his private and professional concerns. He founded his own publishing house, Flea Market Music, and markets ukuleles built in the company of his brother-in-law (The Magic Fluke Company). Beloff also appears as an ukelele player himself.
