Appraisal

After the good experiences with my Pono MHTSH, the Pono MB was a logical choice for me – and I was not disappointed. It is just as immaculately processed, easy to hold and sounds as full and full as one would expect from a good baritone ukulele. It is, of course, much louder than all the rest of my ukuleles. It is restrained in design: however, the mahogany body arouses confidence. Like the tenor, there is a truss rod in the neck of the instrument for extra stability.

I changed the original strings in the G6 tuning for Guadalupe Custom Strings strings in linear tuning C6 tuning. This makes the Pono sound a whole octave lower than all smaller ukuleles.
