I bought the instrument as „used“ in Tokyo-Ochanomizu; the original price was 178,000 yen (1,340 €). This roughly corresponds to their current selling price in Germany (in the US you get them for currently for about 1,100 USD = 1,020 €). However, there are no signs of wear, the strings were also original, i.e., clear Worth in linear tuning. Why this instrument was therefore offered as needed for not even half the price, I do not understand. The sound is so encharming that I could not help but access it.

Perhaps the previous owner had separated from this beautiful Uke because of the unusually high action with which I initially could not cope (just because my other favorite, the Pono MHTSH, on the contrary, was too low). After exchanging views with other KTM 00 owners, I finally lowered the bridge. Now it fits perfectly.
