An ukulele with a scale length of 45 to 48 cm and an overall length of c. 73 cm. The most common tuning is G6 (DGBE). However, Guadalupe Custom Strings also produces strings in C6 tuning (CGEA). The baritone ukulele was most popular in the 1950s.
